NSB's Showcase is a fun performance evening designed to highlight the versatility of our students who study modern, ballroom, jazz, and tap in addition to their ballet training. The audience has a chance to see the young artists perform different dance genres choreographed by NSB’s faculty.
Lecture-Demonstration

NSB's Lecture-Demonstration is structured to educate our audience on the training of a dancer from ages 4-18. Our student body starting with our pre-ballet students to our pre-professional trainees, will demonstrate basic ballet combinations at the barre and then perform variations center choreographed by our esteemed faculty. The audience will be informed of the importance of terminology, technique, musicality, and artistry.
The Lecture-Demonstration concludes with a performance of Swan Lake (Act II) by our pre-professional trainees who study at The Conservatory at NSB.
